Eoin has been part of the Camelspace team for 10 years. He is often the first point of contact for clients with larger construction and infrastructure jobs, including new builds, large re-clads, and hoist hires. Providing estimates and recommending value-added methodologies, he works closely with the company’s technical staff, especially the Operations Manager, to find the most elegant solution for clients within their budget.

With a Diploma in Business Management, IT qualifications, and several years of logistics and operations experience in the hire industry, Eoin has a broad skills base. He discovered his talent for technical sales while in an operations role with another scaffolding business. Seeing great opportunities for the business to grow, he talked his way into the sales team and, as the old cliché goes, never looked back.

He takes pride in the quality of work Camelspace delivers, the interesting jobs he gets to work on, and the professionalism of the team. There’s a great problem-solving and solution delivery culture within the business and he enjoys the camaraderie and support that goes along with that.

Originally from Ireland, Eoin got his first taste of the Antipodes when he travelled to Australia in the late 1990s. He came to New Zealand in 2005 on a working holiday visa and loved the place so much that he stayed on and became a citizen. If there’s a drawback to living in NZ, it’s the antisocial hours in “NZ time” when his favourite Irish football team, Shelbourne, is playing live.
